Adela Meza

 Adela Isabel Meza was born on August 18, 1964, in Godoy, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. She currently resides in her hometown after spending four decades in Rosario, Santa Fe. Her academic background reflects her passion for the arts and philosophy, having studied at the Provincial School of Visual Arts and the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the National University of Rosario. She is a visual artist, writer, poet, textile designer, and interior decorator, and has complemented her education with studies in philosophy. Additionally, she works as a holistic therapist in various disciplines.

 Adela has held the prestigious role of President of the Argentine Society of Plastic Artists of Rosario and has participated in a multitude of solo and group exhibitions, encompassing painting, mixed techniques, and sculpture. A pioneer in creating collaborative projects between schools and communities, she has dedicated her life to working in vulnerable areas, promoting women's empowerment, and collaborating with indigenous communities through congresses, meetings, and seminars. She is an ambassador for universal peace with the Pacis Nunti movement and currently serves as the Regional President of the Argentine Academy "Alas" for young writers in the Santa Fe Province.

 

 She is currently the Designer of ALiKi, a Family Business that from Argentina creates Textile, Sustainable and Contemporary Jewelry with the deep conviction to be contributing to a new look towards fashion, creating sustainable jewelry, bearers of values for Women Citizens of the World. Also in her Atelier she makes textile collages and embroidered poetry always from recycled materials, natural paints and in harmony with nature.
