 Carolina Corvillo, born in Madrid in 1988, is a multifaceted creator whose work shines across literature, theater, and music. A writer of the award-winning novel "La Secta del Cuerpo", the short story collection "Hambre de Pájaro", and the novel "Yo desobedezco o cuento de Ámsterdam", as well as the poetry book "Lo que Eva le contó a la Serpiente", her pen explores themes of freedom, love, and the sublime strangeness of existence.

 

 As a screenwriter, she has brought to life the graphic novels "Ellas iban sin sombrero" and "Maruja Mallo. Verbenas y Campanarios", and the short story "El juego de Wanda". In theater, she is the author of the performance "Los sueños de Ariadna" and co-author of "Coleccionistas" and "Reservoir Cats", premiered in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, and Bucharest.

 Coordinator and co-author of the anthology "Delirios de Cuarentena", and collaborator in others such as "La memoria del jardín" and "Latidos del Mar", Carolina has also worked on short films like "Dentro" and "Dame un Verso", where she served as both screenwriter and director.

 

 In the musical world, she has co-created and written for the groups Blacksleeves, Sybiliam, and Völvam, and has sung in Jazz Lemon and Black Roses. Her art is an exploration of the raw and the erotic, with a penchant for psychological drama and comedy, always weaving in mythological and legendary references.
